So, it has been a long while since the last time I posted.
Many people asked me how to be good in English though I'm not good in it. So, I guess I had some tips from what I'd been through in my English learning process. I used to tell these to my friends so, I'm going to share them here.Maybe it could help a little. My tips are more focused on writing essays and I'm warning you, I'm bad in Grammar.
Read English
I mean, as the beginning, pick one novel. Only one for the beginning.
Choose a novel that you like which uses simple English at first.
Make sure you have a pencil when you read and then, underline words you don't understand.
Find some free time to jot them down and find the meaning of the words.
This helps to improvise your vocab.
You can also jot down phrases or sentences that you think they are useful in essays.
p/s; Try The Diary of A Wimpy Kid if you can't bear books full of words.
Watch English
Don't just watch. Learn from them.
You can learn how to pronounce and speak.
It also helps communication in English.
You can learn their daily conversations through watching dramas or movies from USA or UK.
Extra, widened your knowledge on ACCENTS.
Chat English
Find a special friend whom you will speak in English every time both of you are having a chat.
Then, find more friends to join you in your conversations.
Apart from improving your communication skills, it can boost your confidence.
Write English
I don't mean you have to write short stories or poems or a whole essay.
How about if you try a paragraph of anecdote?
Meet your closest English expert and ask them to read it.
Obviously, it helps in writing.
Post English
We all are active in social websites.
Blogs, Facebook, Twitter.
Post your status in English.
Make sure you post in English on your Blog.
Tweet in English.
Like I said, improving your English.
So, that's that.
I hope these would help.
I'm sorry I can't help you with Grammar.
Because I also can't deal with Grammar and keep doing grammatical errors every time I write.
Stay AWESOME (:
:D
