I was facing my blank age just now . When my heart told me to post something , I was too blank to write something on this blank page . Stop BLANK-ing . Let's move on to our main issue here which is ..
SMILE :)
According to the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary which I'm holding at this moment to flip through for the word SMILE , it means ( which one do you prefer , VERB or NOUN ? OK , I choose NOUN :p ) the expression that you have on your face when you are happy, amused, etc. in which your corners of your mouth turn upwards. How does that mean ? Like this ..
So , you see that they're happy ?
You see the corners of their mouths turn upwards ?
If YES , good (:
But, I ain't actually agree with the definition . Sad people smile , too . You know , sometimes we don't have any idea that not all smiles carved because of happiness . Sometimes, it hides the sadness and sorrow of somebody . It covers the problems muffling ones mind . It makes others think that " She's alright. She looks happy." People who hide their sadness behind a fake smile usually don't want anyone to be miserable over their problems. They don't want to burden others.
You got what I mean ??
How to fake a smile amidst sadness / depression ?
Just like that ...
Though smiles mean a lot , not just happiness or hiding sadness and sorrow but smile is one way to strengthen the bond with other people . We won't live in a world with people who don't know each other .
Smile is a way to start a relationship with people .
Smile is a spreading kindness (:
So, keep on SMILING !
Today , give a stranger one of your smile . It might be the only sunshine he sees all day . Quoted in PS I Love You, compiled by H.Jackson Brown Jr.
:D
