Later this morning, I came across some videos about Islam in YouTube .
And, they gave me some idea on what to post .
One of them shows how the Muslim students cope up with the environment which is putting them into minority community . You know, every time they sneeze and said 'Alhamdulillah' , the others would be, like, staring at them with some kind of weird expression . Every time the girls are repairing their hijabs in the toilet, and when they ask about how do they look or is the hijab OK , the others would be expressionless or unspeakable . Every time they answered a call with salam, the others would freaked up . Every time they want to do istinja' , they'll need clean water 'cause tissue paper is not a good material in istinja' so each time they met the non-Muslims with a bottle filled with water in their hands, they have to cover up, like, drinking the water . Every time they want to do the ablution, people would stare . Every time the contacts between different gender occur , the woman has to warn not to stare first !
Imagine if we who is now living in a Muslim country is put in that kind of situation .
But still, these students are really proud to be Muslims . They love the way the sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) are applicated into the daily lives . They love the beauty of Islam .
How about us ?
I'd faced this kind of situation before when I was in Singapore last month . We were on the pedestrian bridge when that situation happened . We were wearing hijabs, of course . And , I was gobsmacked when I found that there were so many people up there with cigarettes and alcohols in their hands . I pray to Allah to protect us that moment . And , that was when I heard some of them said "Subhanallah !" , "Masyaallah !" in mocking tone, FYI . I was kinda upset to hear that 'cause it came out from Malay themselves which are mostly Muslim .
It's hard to believe when you saw there are not so many women there who wear hijabs . I really respect the ones who wears the hijab in such a country 'cause they're so persevere to face that kind of situation surrounded by mostly-non-Muslim condition .
So, this shows that as a Muslim, country or surroundings doesn't effect our faith . It is us who have to try to strengthens our faith to our believes .
:D
Bienvenue les amis.
